[Rhodes22-list] Steps to raise/lower mast

I just picked up our Rhodes 22 at the plant in Edenton in August and Tino
had me raise and lower the mast a few times when he was going over the many
systems. In my mind I thought "well this is pretty straight forward" and it
is. However there is a process to follow to make sure it's done correctly.
FORTUNATELY for me, my fiancé recorded the whole thing on her phone and I
was able to go back and watch it, when I didn't get it right the first time
I set it up at home. I later pared it down to just a few minutes to get the
highlights and now can execute it with confidence. The GB mast raising
system is a must. It works incredibly well.

Mary Lou is right, RECORD all the processes. The owners manual has a lot of
good info. and this list is invaluable. You'll not find a more knowledgable
or helpful group of sailors anywhere. But it's nice to have the videos to
fall back on.
