[Rhodes22-list] Towing with a small SUV

Fwiw, at a 2016 auto show, I did shopping based on 5,000 lb. towing capacity. The mid-size Kia Sorento V-6 was the only ’smaller’ SUV w/ that capacity. My son was selling them at the time, and I had the opportunity to tow my R22 from coastal NJ to Edenton & back with no issues at all. That included 30 to 35-mph cross winds on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge going down, just after their 40-mph restrictions for trailers, RVs were lifted and other bridges (Del. Memorial and local). It was steady, stable and very responsive. With 26 avg. MPG, it replaced a RAV-4 that was able to tow locally (after warranty expired).
