Don't forget, no one sold more sailboats than JFK.

As those of us influenced by the ideals and lifestyle of JFK have let go of
sailing, there has been a corresponding overall decline in the sport.
That's not to say everyone who enjoys sailing is a fan of JFK or even
nowadays remembers who he was, but we are the cohort that fueled the
sailboat boom of the 1970's.
