Regarding trip planning, I may ask for some advice next season.  I'm
planning a couple of regional road trips.  One to  Lake Francis Case

in South Dakota, and another to  Lake Rathbun
<https://www.rathbunlakemarina.com/>   in Iowa.  While these are not the
ocean or Great Lakes, they are a lot bigger than my home puddle of  Lake
Manawa
