[Rhodes22-list] mid mast support for trailering and winter storage

I'm wrapping up my projects in the warehouse space and getting ready to put
the boat under a cover outside until April.  I wanted to provide some extra
support at the middle of the mast since it is quite a ways between the
supports at the bow and stern.  As I was pondering how to do this, another
sailor suggested making a support that extends up from the mast step.  I
liked that idea and I think it turned out well.  Some spare 2x4 pieces put
together and some foam pipe insulation for padding made this a cheap
project.  The mast step is a sturdy place to mount it.  Passing this on in
case others may find this helpful.  Side note: the photo of the entire boat
might be the sparkly it will ever be after a thorough clean, buff, and wax
job.
