I hope this isn't considered bad forum etiquette, but a good friend of mine
retired from owning a business that created safety gear for the military
and law enforcement. In his "retirement" (do entrepreneurs every really
retire?) He has set up a garage shop with full CNC mill and lathe
capabilities and is doing one-off CNC products that can be made out of
anything from Star board to 316 stainless steel. The name of his company is
coolcncstuff.com. The reason I bring this up is because he and I have
collaborated on several small projects for my Rhodes and I thought I would
share the wealth here. The best part is he has access to my '89 Rhodes to
measure or figure out the component for your boat. I also mention he has
several commercial sewing machines and is currently working on a better
strap for my Doyle head sail than the original one that has broke twice
now.

Stan and I talked about this and there might be some interest in using
coolcncstuff as a source for parts that can no longer be sourced from other
manufacturers.
