[Rhodes22-list] 3 Horsepower Electric Outboard

We have an 8 hp , long shaft Mercury that has  done well in strong winds, tides, etc. 
I think an 8 hp motor (whatever the make) is the smallest motor if you want to sail in ocean, Gulf of Mexico or large lakes.
That has been our experience.
