That’s a common problem with the 170. Try back filling the Jenny then release it so it comes across faster.

We just bought a rhodes this year and have had the same problem.  I find the mainsail to be not very effective on its own and the Genoa gets caught on everything like you said.  I’m considering looking for a smaller headsail.
