Jessie,

I keep a spare water pump impeller + the gasket on board.  My Honda 8 outboard is a 1996 and has only needed 1 impeller in all those years.  Note, I also keep spare ignition black boxes, a coil, and spark plugs on board although I’ve never needed them.
