[Rhodes22-list] Gas tank retaining strip attached to the cockpit sole?

I simply screwed a 12” x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 piece of mahogany to the deck. No thickening required  
I can still lift/slide. The tank over the retainer strip to pull it out. 
It works perfectly.
