Matt -- please remember that this has to be done out of the water. I wasn't aware of that prior to working on my boat, but the list warned me. Absent that, I might have popped the lid off to have a quick look in the water. Or a quick look under water, I guess.

You shouldn't need to remove all of the cabin sole, but you will have to remove the "L" shape teak settee top and the support around the fiberglass lid that supports the step. It is a bit awkward to get out of the cabin. Some of this work is really easier with 2 people.
