[Rhodes22-list] Roller furling part

Frank,
This looks like my original old GB furler circa 1989.  I fixed mine like
Stephen but without the nylobraid.  I used starboard.  Just pushed to small
pieces together and sketched a circle, then cut with my jigsaw.  Drilled
the 1/8 hole in the middle and holes for the screws.  I have a spherical
fitting swaged on to the forestay and that just rests on/under the
starboard as the bearing surface.  I might have shaped it a bit to have a
spherical divot and sprayed with some silicon.  Seems to work OK.  I hope a
CDI in my future.
