[Rhodes22-list] What are these for?

They look rather like the standoffs on a boarding ladder complete with the rubber bumpers. My ladder is stainless steel but the pieces are about the same size as the metal ones on my ladder. Do you have a wooden ladder?
Attached is a photo of my ladder with the 1" rubber bumpers removed for replacement.

Hi Sailors,
I bought my Rhodes 22 at an auction and I'm still learning about it.
On board were two round 1" diameter by 5 1/2" long rods with a rubber bumper on one end. They look to be used somewhere inside the boat. At least I think they belong with the boat.
Does anyone recognize these?
