[Rhodes22-list] IMF Gooseneck problem

Graham, I haven't had the entire unit come out. The strangest thing that I
had with the Starboard material was one of the doughnut spacers that helps
hold the furling pole in place, was broken into 3 pieces. I say strange
because it really just acts as a spacer with very little stress. General
Boats , at the time, would only sell the entire unit and not individual
pieces. I just finished replacing all of the parts that make up the
universal joint connecting the boom to the mast. The mast needed to be
dropped in order to replace all of the parts. See if a sailor's friends
duct tape and zip ties will let you finish the season.
