[Rhodes22-list] Leaking front windows.

Hi Sailors,

I was getting water into the cabin while Serenity was on the trailer in my
driveway . Using a garden hose found the front two windows were leaking. I
removed them. The foam seals around the windows looked in good shape. They
are in one piece and not rotted. The screws holding the window in seemed a
bit loose.

What is the preferred method to fix this?

I was thinking of slicing the foam seals from screw hole to screw hole and
removing the outside section. Then running a bead of 3M Marine adhesive
sealant 5200 about the thickness of the foam seal around the
perimeter where I removed the foam seal.

What are the two "U shaped reliefs" for along the bottom edge of the window
opening?
