Michael,
The TSBB Roster is actually publicly available and contains each
participant's screen name from the bulletin boards, a picture, info about
the boats owned or sailed (current and former), primary sailing location,
family info, birthday, occupation, an email address and a link to personal
web pages. It does not contain addresses or phone numbers. The page is not
widely advertised but there is small link on the bottom of the TSBB web
page http://www.trailersailor.com/forums/trailersailor/index.cgi and you
can get to through Google.

I would suggest, if we were to do something similar, it should not contain
address or phone info - save that for Da List. Email addresses are
available to those of us on the list anyway. The password would, as you
mentioned keep out the spambots. I'm not much of an HTML/web page person
but I am willing to help with a project like this after the sailing season
is over. I can do simple databases and help collect and organize information.
