hi dan and kathy
i have that engine and it has been sheer perfection since i put it in service 
in june.. 
the stopping and reverse power are unbelievable..it has never stalled and is 
easy to service right off the stern of the boat....i bought the power tilt 
model which is about 300 more so i dont have to pull the motor mount up and 
down..however this will onlly work with the 25 inch shaft
