1)I talked to Mark this morring, he is making up a webpage to replace the footer(I.e. the footer would be cut down to one line with
the link), I am sure he would like some ideas for the page and would be happy for people to work with him shaking out the design.
Thank You very much Mark.
2)The user count is not in the base package I am using, their way is to show the subscribers page
http://www.rhodes22.org/mailman/listinfo/rhodes22-list (down at the bottom), right now we have 124 people.
3)I do not mind shorting the name, in fact I think I made a mistake choosing the name I did, it is to close to the sailnet name,
typing complete end up with messages on sail net. The only real issue I have with the change is people have mail filters and address
books with the name in it, the change could be disruptive to some people. I think I need more of a "outcry" from the group to do
this one, like who is in favor people?
4)I think my next hack for the system, would be to remove any quoted mail after the second level, that way people can still answer
inline and have context for message but but the 3 level it becoming unreadable and only bulking up the message for bandwith and
fouling the archive and dejest, the problem is sometimes people who answer at the bottom might get cut off and thier post will look
like it did not as a question, on the otherhand it stop the tree in the woods problem with that. BTW most people would not have a
problem they post on top, option people???
5)Dijest people how do you like the new system, should be alot cleaner for you.?
