I was impressed by my friends. Got two invites to hurricane parties after
work Wednesday. Fortunately, we have home football at LSU to help polish
off leftovers. It will probably be one of the best weeks in history for
Baton Rouge liquor stores!

Weather's awesome now. Fall temps (80s/50s) came in behind the storm. I
understand that the piers at my marina are still under water. I'll give it
til tomorrow after the game to recede, then I'm going sailing. I can always
stay at anchor if my slip is still hidden under water.

Hope Rummy is getting his share of the rain. I heard that Tennessee got 4
inches.

Ben,
Just got back from BR...did you buy extra beer?...one of our southern
traditions is when the hurricane "fizzles" and you have extra "stuff" left
over after the storm, the first opportunity (i.e. weekend) you try to
"finish" the "stuff"...if you can't freeze it, you have to eat it or drink
it....unless it is a paper product....sigh....it is hard work, but someone
has to hold up traditions...try to stay off the highways this weekend...
