I have molded in nipples for the seat drains and transom thru-hulls. I plan
on drilling them out and installing new larger fittings. Has anyone done
this? I want to get the largest diameter hose as possible, and without the
boat in front of me, I don't know how large the fitting flange can be and
still fit inside the seat basin. A 1 inch hose fitting gives me a 1-1/2"
flange and the 1-1/2" hose fitting has a 1-7/8" flange. Any reason not to
go as large as will fit?
