Thanks MJM  I'll take a peek there to see what is going on.  While were there 
can you tell me what holds the board in place.  During repairs to my aft 
finkeel  I examined the slot for the board. I only saw two slots where I assumed 
the ears of the board would rest in.  I'm in the processes of fabing a new 
board but have not delt with the attaching issue yet. AS of now I'm sailing 
boardless.
