Looks like Will has it figured out.  :^)  

Will, good luck and hang in there.  It is a lot of work, but you'll
appreciate it when you are done.  Nobody will notice all of the work you put
in to organizing the current content, but YOU CERTAINLY will as soon as you
start adding the new content.  That is when everyone else will notice!  They
will also notice when the content is updated more frequently, because YOU
put in the work to make it easier to do.  I may still send you a page or two
of layouts, for your consideration.  However, being in control of the code
also gives you a certain amount of leeway (and responsibility) for design
decisions.  ;^)
