Roger:  Don't let the opinions of a few reflect the attitudes of most.
There are so many people out there one pay check short of bankruptcy  and
homelessness that it is unreal.

You paid into the program for 26 years, you need help now, use it and stay
proud.  My impression is that most of the people on this list who have
followed you these past years know that you are a fine example of
citizenship - model actually!

Keep a positive attitude and don't let the basxxxds get you down.  They
probably were not referring to you when they mentioned those who ride the
"gravy train" anyhow but to those who never really want to lift a finger to
help themselves. You certainly are not in that category.
