[Rhodes22-list] Traveler set up

Lloyd,
I'm looking at your third picture "portview1" that shows your entire boat.
The traveler set up seems to be, ah, incomplete on my boat.  I've got some
sort of a cable that we looped around the stern rail and ran a line from the
boom through it.  It worked, sort of.  Questions. Is this original equipment
for your boat?  Any suggestions on how to rig mine in a similar manner?  How
are the attachments to the back stays made?  And if you happen to have your
camera with you next time, how about a couple of detailed pictures.  Thanks!

Several previous e-mails have asked for the appropriate size  for decals of
the boat name to place on the sides of the hull.  This, in my opinion, is
all a matter of preference, as is the type of script and the color of the
display.  I purchased my decals in April, 2000 from BoatUS and they work for
me.  Of course, the BoatUS decal printing operation is about 6 miles from my
house so I went there and they showed me what the decals would look like
before I made my final choice.  The decals are 8" high and I placed them 6"
above the boot top.  To give anyone who is thinking about ordering decals a
benchmark to help in deciding what size might look good on their boat I am
attaching 3 photos of my decals taken today.
