[Rhodes22-list] Trailer Bow Stop

We've had a lot of discussion about the bow stop being too close to the bow
to allow the boat to sit on the trailer as far forward as we would like.
Also there were some issues with the bow eye getting hung up on the stop
itself. Has anyone cut the entire bow stop / winch assemble off and
literally moved it forward closer to the hitch? It seems like moving it one
foot would allow the boat to miss the stop, and be loaded as far forward on
the trailer as needed, while the bow stop arm is long enough to still come
in contact with the bow when needed.
