If there's an attachment, it didn't come through.

The leech (loose end) of the sail is only a slight triangle. It's cut  
high to the batten, then drops to the clew. My best guess is the batten  
is about 20" in from the clew. Not sure if all these numbers work. If I  
knew I'd be the source of info, the tape measure would have been out.
