      I have one with interchangeable ends also, but I don't think mine
was cheap.  The brush has not fallen off yet.  It works good for washing
the rudder, and bottom that I can reach from the dock while the boat is
in the water.  I have had it a couple of years now.

Actually it is a piece of junk. One of those cheap types that you can
put 
different ends on like brushes or boat hook. All the brushes fall off
when 
you scrub hard. It makes a better tiller! :)

I did lash it down with quite a bit of line. The R22 has a pretty light 
helm.
