Bob,
I can not believe this question. Whose boat has been parked on
the hard at Big Water. Get it back in the water while it still floats.

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] Genoa track question

I have a question for the list about an additional genoa track that I am

planning to install on my boat. The track will be further forward and
from
the standard track and will be mounted next to the cabin, so that when
pointing into the wind I can run the sheets inside the upper shrouds and

through a car on this track to get a better angle for pointing.

Here is my question: How best to install the track? Should I drill a
hole
and use stainless self-tapping screws to screw into the hole in the
fiberglass as West Marine suggested? Or, should I drill a hole, tap it
and
use machine screws to secure to the fiberglass deck, as Rummy suggests?

Thanks.
