[Rhodes22-list] Through-hulls leaking from the trailer?

The Yankee Clipper was sitting on the trailer at the marina for about five
weeks and we launched it last Friday. I noticed that the bilge was filling
with water, so tore apart the insides to verify that it was NOT the CB cap
leaking (thank goodness). Pulled out battery #1 and noticed that the
through-hull for the holding tank discharge (port side) had a slow leak. I
attributed this to the fact that I had put a drain plug into this fitting so
that discharge is not possible on the lake, since it is illegal. I believe
that the guys taking it on and off the trailer at the marine likely hit the
plug against the bunk and caused the leak.

Well, the marina guys pulled it out after I went home and told me that the
other through-hull was leaking water (starboard side), not the one that I
specified to them. They claim that the head intake through-hull was leaking
after the boat was pulled out. So, now I am confused...

They are trying to tell me that, as the boat sits on the trailer the hull
flexes because of the length of the bunk with no support in the middle of
the bunk. That this somehow caused the through-hull to leak.

I am more than skeptical, but want to know if this is possible? I have
trailered the boat many miles with no leaks, but when I did this I had
support brackets at the halfway spot on the bunks (which was NOT recommended
by GB). So, I am skeptical as to which through-hull was actually leaking
(since I saw the port side leak with my own eyes and hands) and am also
skeptical that the trailer can cause a through-hull to leak. Anyone ever
hear of this before?
Thanks.
