[Rhodes22-list] Thank you Mary Lou

Mary Lou,
A most gracious thank you, that is what I like about this list.
There are always others with the accurate details. Connecticut could have
been one of Stan's contractors, but only he would know. Ancient history is
not political enough to get him to respond. Nor has anyone adequately
responded to his question about front weight to get a response there.
                Ed K

Ed, I think "Columbian" and "Columbia" are two different companies. The HIN
Jeff provided was registered to Columbian Fiberglass in CT. From the Coast
Guard website "MIC PREVIOUSLY ASSIGNED TO COLUMBIAN FIBERGLASS 558 HANOVER
ST MERIDEN CT 06450. MSO NYC. TYPES 11 & 13. OOB 800329. MCCALL USED TO OWN
(SVT) & (BJU). 05/29/97 MAIL RETURNED BOX CLOSED NO FORWARDING ADDRESS."
Columbia Yachts was originally a California company that also made boats in
Virginia. there's an unofficial history here:
