[Rhodes22-list] Sailing - Highly Technical Question

Roger,

The old "magic" number that all standard aviation
computations were based on was 59 degrees F, now 15 C.
I remember 0 C from high school physics. Why we
didn't convert to the Metric system when it was
discussed in the 70's is beyond me but I'm too old to
ever think in terms of it as the primary measurement
now. The head holding tank is long overdue for a
"dump". If you saw the picture I posted a few weeks
ago of the Chinese 4 year old who went sailing with
us, you'll appreciate the wisdom of her obvervation.
"Mommy, that place stinks, I'll just wait".
