[Rhodes22-list] 2 cycle vs 4 cycle

Ed,

What does the weight of one's outboard or whether it is 2-cycle or 4-cycle
have to do with the simple fact that gasoline & oil in the water tends to
embrittle & shorten the life of every outboard's water pump impellor?  My
views on 2-cycle vs. 4-cycle marine engines are well known on this list;
but, I was merely attempting to explain a common material of construction
failure mode.  There was no mention of any environmental issues.  You are
REALLY sensitive about this subject aren't you?
