[Rhodes22-list] Story: Forward Weight?

Interesting...... Our R22 would always round up if held down for long (more
than just a few seconds). I have gotten the windows wet for sure, but never
got more than maybe a half a gallon of water in the cockpit. I never tried
to hold her down there though. I always found that sailing Country Rhodes
on her ear, while fun and sometimes a bit of a challenge, wasn't
particularly fast. I learned to ease the sheets quickly anytime a gust
would threaten to put her rail in the water, If I wanted to keep her
driving forward well. She always liked to be on her feet and was certainly
much faster that way.

I'm a bit surprised that you were able to hold her down for long.
