[Rhodes22-list] inside sheeting

Bruce,
We make our change from outside to inside sheeting without leaving the
cockpit. We tack so I am working with the lazy sheet. This would not work
if you have lifelines. I run the genoa car on the lazy side all the way
forward to give myself all of the sheet to work with. I flip the lazy
sheet up onto (or close to) the cabin and fish it back to the cabin top cam
cleat with the boat hook extended. Our sheets are long enough that I can do
this without releasing the end of the sheet. As long as it's not blowing so
hard that you need the winch to adjust the trim (in which case you have to
release the figure 8 and pull the end around.) If you left the end in the
car on the genny track, going from inside sheeting to outside sheeting is a
matter of releasing it at the cabin top cleat.
