	We saw "hordes" as well.  Swatting flies from 10 am to 8pm,
sometimes got lucky....a triple play!

We were out on the Chesapeake a couple of weeks ago. No black flies at the
marina, but hoards of them out in the bay. Go figure. Annoying, nasty little
creatures.
