Wally,

Haha - we're about at the opposite end of the scale - we've only been
sailing for about 5 years and have already moved from a 14' to an 18' to a
19' to a 22' and now to a 37'. Sheesh - go figure.

Mary Lou,

It took me 30 years of sailing to move up from 14 - 19 foot day sailors to
the R22. It was the right move for me as it finally got my wife in a dry
boat. :-). For the type of cruising we do (up and down the river) it suits
me fine. I sail more than anyone else at my marina and that is the way I
want to keep it.

I will admit to being too lazy to maintain a larger boat, my home, and my
marriage. I could handle taking care of two of the three but something would
have to give. :-)

The R22 meets all of my current needs. Some day this may change and this is
why I still look at the various web listings.
