One other thing I forgot to mention about the 155%;
that the biggest you can go and not have to take a
handicapp loss. The funny thing about PHRF, you don't
get an increase in handicapp for having anything
smaller that 155% either.

The window will get hard durning the winter. It will
get wrinkle in it from furling. Not small folded type
wrinkle, there round type from the furling. But in
the summer time they will smooth back out. The
furling is not a real problem but the window will wear
out before the sail will. Any loft should be able to
put a new one in. On the brittle thing, anything that
would polk a hole thur the window; would also polk a
hole thru the sail. Winter time you probably would
want to be more carefull; like you said about your
jeep - cold make the plastic hard.

It your cloth material is like mylar; you will be able
to see thur that. But if Dacron, that window come in
handy when you are on Port tack aproching a starrboard
tacker. Remember the 45 degree rule, 2 boat
approching each other on 45 degree opposite tacks -
probably gonna hit.
