A friend of mine who is also a republican has an interesting theory on
this....Neither Kerry or Bush are any good so our best chance at a
decent Republican is if Kerry wins, mucks it up for 4 years and then
the Republicans nominate a decent candidate. Of course, that's
assuming that there are any decent people left in politics.  A very
large and, most likely faulty, assumption.
