Ed,

Surely you are not against freedom of speech? Your "Liberal views vs more 
reasoned" comment give us an insight to how closed your mind really is. 
Anyone view different then your own is unreasoned?

I don't watch Matthews and I didn't think much of the article at all. I 
don't really have a problem with our fighting forces doing their job. I 
don't have a problem shooting Germans in American uniforms behind lines. I 
don't think the recent shooting is remotely similar so i don't see any value 
in trying to draw comparisions. If the guy felt he was in danger he should 
fire away. War is hell.

The best way we can support our troops is vote for leaders that will not 
lead us off to war half cocked. The current mess is a great example.
