In truth, the motor question has been flogged a bit
lately.  That does not, however, excuse the crap
flying about your inquiry from a couple of parties.

There is some very useful info in the archives.
I suggest that you review the recent thread about
motors in the Rhodes 22 archives:

Please don't be too put off by the somewhat ossified 
positions taken by some proponents of a particular 
point of view.

You may find the addresses of some people who can be 
specifically helpful, and you may want to contact 
them off-list so you don't have to contend with 
overheated egos.
