Ed, isn't it possible that we have created fertile 
ground for terrorists by upsetting a dictatorship 
that did not want to share power with Bin Laden, 
and that local resistance groups are allying with 
Bin Laden to get his help in resisting what they 
see as foreign invaders?

While I agree that Al-Zaquari, Bin Laden et al. 
should be exterminated, perhaps we need to make 
sure we are not blinded to their motives, genesis,
and considerable intelligence assets by our bloodlust.  

We need to be aware of all the consequences of our 
actions.
