[Rhodes22-list] Draftdodger/cowards and other random thoughts

Brad,

Deep down I'm a conservative up to the point it fails.

This country has got to get back to the place where the people who can see the failures from both sides can work together.

I know, deep down, you would like to be able to do that, too.

When I do book tours I chase BBQ joints all over the country. I've never been to Memphis, so I've never been to Corky's. If you recommend it, I'm sure I'll like it.

Bill,

"If you don't know the answer, you can't just make it
up. That won't work on this list."

I'll look it up in the morning and give you the facts
or "eat crow". I like mine baked with extra sauce on
the wings. If I'm wrong, you'll get Corky's BBQ
Fedex'd to you.

I have read my homeowners policy. I'm covered because
I spent the money to cover the risk, however small it
may be.

Bill, I have an extra apartment in China that I'll
gladly rent to you as soon as we can kick the other
renters out. China had a policy of taking care of
everyone until they figured out that it didn't work.
Your heart is in the right place. Deep down I'm a
liberal up to the point that it fails. Dr. Johnsons's
words still resonate in my brain. Your liberal goals
are the equivlinent of Johnson's obvervations of his
friends second wedding.

"It is the triupmth of hope over experience".
