>Hay Chihuahua Gillermo!
Porque no puedes dejar esto?
Yo creo que usted es poquito cabezon.
I don't pretend to be a scholar of world politics, I leave that to those in
the PolySci department. History should bear out the fact that those 184
Texians, some gringo, some Tejano...all prior citizens of another country
(Mexico), held one common ideal sacred: freedom from tyrannical oppression.
Santa Ana was not an invader, he represented the totalitarian authority
that they were oppressed by, and of course even the citizens of well
established Mexican states disdained him (remember how they later
disinterred his amputated leg, buried with full military honors in Verecruz
in an act of disrespect and defiance?).

Less than 200 years later, we live in peace with Mexico, and here, the only
thing that separates the two cultures is a river.

Vaya con dios amigo
