  Thanks Ena for the political analogy.. as a person who aspires to 
work within the confines of digital media as it records onto tape and 
hard drives, chiaroscuro represents the way in which we portray the 
contrast of the light and dark ,  foreground and background images on 
the (small) screen.  So I like Slim's  choice of  (b) to best 
describe the term.

" Flip Flop" is a rubber sandal worn to the beach or cabanna in the 
summer and has no pertinent meaning when it comes to voting in the 
Senate.
