Silm, Brad is right as usual.  If you are going to use that compass for 
anything other than getting a general idea of where the dock is, get it done 
professionally.  It is a Pita and there are many other factors in play.  The 
boats electronic panel is likely on the inside of the companionway under the 
wash board where the compass is mounted.  Getting a deviation table can be 
complex.  A hand held compass is a good alternative to get you a more 
accurate bearing.  BW
