[Rhodes22-list] very curious

Brad,

Thanks for the input.  Before disconnecting the battery, I first reconnected
the speakers.  Now no noise and the CD player doesn't work either.

This will take more time than I have for lunch right now.  Any and all
suggestions are welcome.
