Wally, 
I would just love to have you here. 
I do understand the time thing. 
We can go all the way to the gulf from here and 
it takes 10-12 days down the Tom Bigbee waterway. 
Your river journey would not stop at Pickwick but come through Nashville 
and end up coming through Lake Barkley, then thru the canal
to Kentucky Lake. 
However, it is a 5 hour drive on the freeway!!
