Brad,
Fan wants to save all that money so you won't freak
out when she makes 11 dishes for her next New Years' party!!

Bill, Michael,

We haven't purchased our tickets yet but Fan and Cora
will probably fly into LGA and I'll jumpseat into EWR.
I assume Jia will fly into JFK but she may have plans
to hit HP headquarters on the West coast and then LGA
or EWR. Anyway, we'll need to all meet somewhere and
Manhattan is the logical choice. Fan knows a cheap
place in Flushing through the Chinese Mafia (that's a
joke I think) but I've already vetoed it. We'd like
to get a suite or at least two beds, Jia and Cora in
one, Fan and I in the other (we all promise to wear
pajamas and stay in our own space). The Crown Plaza
rooms are very small. I like the Sheraton Hudson in
Secacus because the rooms are huge but I'll have to
check on the ferry schedule. Fan found some places on
Hotel.com for $80 per night but I knew instantly they
were too far north. Its been a long time since I was
based in NYC but I still remember falling asleep on
the subway and getting off about the 120's. That was
enough tourist time in that area for me. If I were in
charge, I'd just pay the price and pick the most
convenient location (like the Trump hotel where we
used to stay across from Grand Central), but for the
Chinese, saving five bucks or a hundred is a "mission
from God". Thanks for your input.

Brad
