I used a 28lb thrust trolling motor, battery, charger, and 
Honda 1000i generator for a hybrid rig on a 15' 800 lb (total 
weight with passenger) sailboat for lakes.  A 15 mph wind head-on 
was about all it could handle, and 2.5 mph was top speed.

But it sure was quiet...

Minnkota now has a 100lb thrust electric in their lineup.
That might be useful, but it would require a 2000i or larger
to keep up with it.
