http://www.gimp.org/ - there's a bit of a learning curve, but it's very
powerful.

Attached is a picture of a nautical landmark from about 20,000 feet up.
Which Rhodie can identify it?

     I have several hundred pictures that I took in the Ukraine.  I need a
recommendation of a computer program that I can type labels on them, any
suggestions?
